"Bullying"

Ysgol dyffryn aman not only do they let pupils get bullied but also teachers bully the pupils. This school needs to be avoided for your child’s own mental health. I wish I took in some of the reviews before sending my child to this school.

"Teachers bullying each other, and ignorance to special needs pupils"

Teachers bully each other, and nobody feels comfortable to speak up on an issue due to the bigger teachers bullying
And some pick on children with special needs or extra learning needs, and nobody can do much about it

"A difficult place to work"

The pupils of this school are amazing and are a real credit to the community. Behind the scenes is a different story with a demoralised workforce who don’t feel listened to or respected. There is a culture of fear with most people too scared to speak out, especially with regards to some staff not pulling their weight and taking their roles seriously.

"Disappointed isn’t even the word "

I attended this school and had a really positive experience. My daughter is now in the school and all I can say is how disappointed I am in so many areas. I’ve never known such a disjointed approach in anything. There are a few good teachers but not enough to make a difference to the experience or someone’s education. They do not communicate enough with the parents for a start and I honestly feel that the teachers are so unprofessional. Such a shame.

"YDA review"

It has been a rather poor performance for me. The pupils are rude and obnoxious while the majority of teachers are not available to help. Although the subjects available are interesting and interactive

"Good school"

Love my school, all the staff are amazing.
As a student I get treated with respect and am always aware that help is given when needed. I always get challenged to do better and am supported in any decision or difficulties I face. Can’t say I’ve ever had anything bad to say about the school!
