"Would not choose again"

This used to be a lovely school - it had a wonderful, caring headmaster, a quiet and orderly environment and happy kids. Then it was taken over by CLF and a new head came in. They introduced a very punitive behaviour policy that has made the lives of pupils and staff absolutely miserable. Even well behaved children are now finding themselves punished (e.g for dropping an item from a desk or needing the toilet when ill). It has been awful for student mental health and safeguarding. On the plus side, some of the teachers seem to be quietly rebelling against implementing the new rules and the tide is turning back.
