St Bernadette Catholic Secondary School

Do not go to this school. Over 90% of my year are bullies. I've reported this to my head of year and she did not know what to do at all. She asked *me* what to do. She probably dumped my case away but she's at least being nicer tho. Some of the food is mouldy. If you're in maths set 5 or 6,you'd be doing too easy topics like fractions. And the school system is stupid. If you're late even 1 second to class,you're getting straight isolation. You could get detention/red cards for minor things. They fuss over pointless things and not focus on bigger issues. They make excuses when they don't know how to resolve problems.

Some teachers are really genuinely nice to me tho. And you do learn some really valuable stuff in Computing/IT like Python or Editing in Photopea. But it's not worth going here.

When I was chosen to be in this school, I thought it was actually gonna be nice! Then.. I realised that it was so bad! I experienced so many bullies in my life! Some of the teachers are so rude and mean I bet they scream at you! For example, a teacher who gives out warnings for NO REASON!!!! My science teacher is absolutely rude than devils! But my tutor and music teacher are so sweet! They would make me go to this school! Anyway, when I was at my primary school, I had to go see the stupid ruder than devils idiotic stupid idiot came and guess what.. I bet he was lying saying that the school is fine and amazing! HE WAS LYING!!!! Forcing me to come to st berns? NO NO NO NO NO NO WAY!!! Why would I come to his nasty school?! ITS LIKE HELL!!! HE IS NASTY!! NOW I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHY MY CLASsmates from primary HATED IT!!!! To parents in that universe... DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!! Receptionists are not qualified doctors.
If you haven't got a nurse on hand to look after a child dont voice your opinion of how I'll they are or what they need. You are a " receptionist" please accept the responsibilities that come with your statements as its you who will be responsìble if a child becomes very ill from taking in your opinion of telling them they shouldn"t ask for help. A 15 year old knows full well what they need....so youve Overstepped the mark a bit.

Very disappointed with students' and staffs' behaviour. My son told me he got bullied and people told him to go back to his country. He had no friends just because of where he was from and the teachers didn't do anything. After that he kept on begging me to move schools.

I would give this school a zero if I could. Yes, I had good memories, but I wholly believe that’s based on the friends I made by myself. The SEN department was useless and I witnessed multiple bullying incidents happening with nothing being done once reported. Do not send your child here!! Every student is forced to partake in mass, no matter their religion.

Its eh. Had some problems but its a okay school

Absolutely shit school , bullied throughout my whole time there school does nothing schools to busy having go about your uniform ,hair colour , piercings then worrying about you learning honestly load of bollocks

The ready to learn system is wrong!! 2 warnings and your out that could be being late and forgetting your pen and you get sent isolation for the full day plus a hour after school , which in my opinion I think is disgusting . Not letting them speak , has to look straight ahead can’t even smile to someone without getting warnings which leads to getting excluded and will have to repeat the whole day again the next day. I highly believe this is so damaging to are children’s mental health being isolated for stupid little things. don’t get me wrong some of the teachers are amazing and not there fault for they way the school is run and the other staff. There education there is good but if you have a child with problems they don’t care! In classes they will not try to help them they just use isolation as a way for them not have to handle with them . Never ever again I will send any of my other children there !!!!

This school dose not sort out bulking they are the worst school to help kids I dint even know how they can be school all they care about is there selfs not the pupils and they sit student in isolation with no food or drink while everyone else got there’s they put the heating on SUNY days and hot weather they also have a crap warning system they just can’t be a school they think bullying is ok it’s just a w to keep kids not educated the education they provide ain’t get you no where
