"Excellent Education in a Friendly Environment"

We've had a fantastic experience at Bedminster Down School. The teachers are all very approachable and have been a huge help to our daughter. She's made some wonderful friends too.

"new management needed !!!"

I am an ex student of fairly recently. To be honest the school depends a lot on your year group. some are more laid back but it just seems that kids are getting worse and worse i personally liked the school the education was good and i recieved good grades. things were ruined by bullies but you get bullies in every school. obviously can’t speak for the school now as im not there but my siblings still are and they have stated how poor the whole system has got- students are constantly punished (sent to isolation or detention or sent home) for wearing shorts that they are allowed to wear in 25° heat !! also seems there is a lack of respect for pupils needs (eg. support cards being taken away ) and they are extremely strict on attendance and punctuality which is a good thing but if a student is a tiny bit late (which can happen due to the layout of the school and the stairs are always so crowded) it’s inevitable that they might not make it to their lesson on time. good school education wise but definitely needs new management 100000%. a lot of teachers who have been there for decades have left only just now and i think that sums it up.

"Highly Recommend"

We moved to Bristol last year and were initially worried about our son settling in to a new school. But the staff at Bedminster Down have been absolutely brilliant - they've made him feel so welcome and supported. The curriculum is also excellent and has really challenged him.

"worst school ever "

Worst school ever do not recommend, DO NOT GO. People get bullied a lot and teachers don't care. Most of the students are horrible.
Please save yourself and don't go.

"Bedminsterdown secondary school Bristol yol"

Don't get me wrong they don't always do things the best but the do try and they are brilliant at helping and supporting you or sorting out your problems. E.g bullying. You just need to make sure that you speak to the correct person.

"Poor overall "

The school is full of idiots who are always fighting, the violence is severe and chaotic here. It generally feels unsafe most of the time and I have had to fear my own life against other students in some scenarios. The mental health support is poor and only takes you almost seventy-odd years to receive any support.
