Had my daughters coat stolen and no staff did anything to help even though it was by another unknown student, forced to buy her another. She was very upset at the time and the individual responsible still is unknown.

"A Great All-Rounder for Our Children"
We've been really pleased with the progress our children have made at Brighouse High School. The teachers are supportive and enthusiastic, and the extra-curricular activities have helped our kids develop new skills and interests.

"Excellent Education and Fantastic Facilities"
We chose Brighouse High School for its excellent reputation and we're not disappointed. The school's modern facilities are impressive and the staff are always on hand to help our children with any problems they may be facing.

"Bad Rules and Lessons"
the school homework for maths is always stuff the kids havent learnt but the others are fine.And the dinnerladys take more money off of you on lunch.They dont take bullying very well at all ever so if your Son or Daughter had been pushed by a kid they dont properly deal with it.

"Shite school"
Students all from similar areas therefore the majority over them act like they’re the hardest person in the world. Lots of bullying at this school as teachers don’t really care. They punish the bullied child by keeping them in on their breaks ‘for their own safety’ instead of punishing the person who is bullying. No respect from anyone. Such a backwards school. If you want your kids to do well then I wouldn’t recommend sending them here at all.

I hate this school. the teachers are rude hardly in etc the person that gets bullied gets in trouble even if you get jumped homework everyday its not a good environment the kids are vile

"My school days "
It’s an alright school! The teachers are okay but it’s just strict….. jumpers have to be kept on all the time even in 30 degree weather, make you do PE even with a note from doctor! Automatic detention if 2 minutes late and homework every day….

"Former student"
I am a former student at this school and in the nicest way I hated it. The staff never helped with bullying but only made it worse. The students have zero manners. And the teachers are strict on being 1 minute late and one way system but nothing actually important. If you get one behaviour point you get an automatic after school. Some members of staff were actually okay and made lessons fun. But majority of them were rude and didn’t even know how to control the class

"Good high-school with some downsides "
Good, just the school does not solve bullying issues and issues with staff. Unfair policies such as being 1 minute late due to bus you get an automatic detention
