Shenfield St Mary's Church of England Primary School is a friendly, open and caring school for boys and girls aged 4 – 11 years. Our vision is to unlock every child's potential as a unique child of God. We aim to ensure that every child's unique strengths are celebrated and strengthened alongside gaining an excellent academic, social, emotional and physical education.

"A good school with room for improvement"

We have been generally pleased with our child's experience at Shenfield St Mary's, but we have noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of teaching. The school's facilities are great, and the values are lovely, but we feel that the school could do more to engage parents in the learning process.

"Our Child Thrives at Shenfield St Mary's"

We made the right choice sending our child to Shenfield St Mary's. The school's values of FORGIVENESS, TRUST, RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT, THANKFULNESS, JUSTICE, and HUMILITY are instilled in every aspect of the school day, making our child feel safe and valued. We love the way the school celebrates individuality and encourages every child to shine.

"A wonderful school with caring staff"

Although our child has moved on to secondary school, we still cherish the memories of their time at Shenfield St Mary's. The staff were always approachable, and the curriculum was engaging and comprehensive. I particularly appreciated the focus on RE and the school's strong connection with the local church.
