"Bullying"

This school is full of bullies. I transferred my daughter to this school to only be faced with more bullies. Other students have said there’s no point reporting as the teachers do nothing to stop it. For a school that “support anti bullying” are not doing a very good job at protecting their students. My child’s petrified to come into school because of this and she’s only been there 4 1/2 months. This has been reported to the school and yet still continues.

"Supported, cared for and seen"

This school had such a family-like feel to it. The pastoral team were so kind and genuinely valued mental health above everything else. The teachers found a way to inspire me and keep me interested in even the most boring topics. They always put the student first. Everyone is valued, treated the same and given the same opportunities. There is no tolerance for bullying which makes the atmosphere feel lighter- like you’re able to breathe and learn feeling confident and safe. Everyone I know loved being a part of the St Gregs family. Utterly grateful for every staff member and person in my year group

"Big problems "

The school it’s self if okay, definitely not the worst. But the teachers, staff, behavioural supervisors and mental health staff are utterly terrible. Many students who struggle with mental health have been told that it’s “attention seeking” and that they’re not really mentally ill. students with anxiety are ridiculed indirectly which I’ve heard first hand. Many issues with bullying are swept under the rug and nothing is done about it despite their “zero tolerance policy” when in fact they do nothing to help the bullied students and refuse to punish the bullies. (I’ve experienced this first hand and many other people have had the same experience)
Whenever parents have a problem with the teachers the teachers get extremely defensive and act all perfect and innocent when this is far from the truth. Many teachers are rude and disrespectful.

Overall the education is okay not great but tolerable. But if you are thinking of sending your child here please be aware of everything, they’re unable to deal with mental health, blame students for things that aren’t their fault and overall are rude. If you wanna deal with that go ahead, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

"St Gregs"

The school its self is genuinely good but when you have a problem the teachers are not the best at dealing with it. They will attempt to Solve the issue in many way but it allways seemed to make it worse. Also a lot of the teachers like to use the frase "attention seeking" even if your not, just putting you down.
