About Oldfield School

Oldfield School is a high attaining 11-18 mixed comprehensive with 1250 students located in the historic city of Bath. The school campus is on the outskirts of the north-west of the city and we benefit from a large, semi-rural setting with excellent transport links. Our school has a well-established reputation locally and in the wider community for academic excellence and the quality of pastoral care and support.

the blonde receptionist lady was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Made me feel very unwelcome. I was there at lunchtime on 12/03

"Outstanding Education and Facilities"

My son has been at Oldfield School for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier with the progress he's made. The facilities are excellent, especially the Sixth Form building in Penn House. I love the values the school teaches, especially the importance of being kind and ambitious. We've had a fantastic experience here.

"Great Start"

My daughter is in Year 7 and we're really pleased with the school so far. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the school is well-organized. We like the emphasis on extra-curricular activities, and my daughter is enjoying her Duke of Edinburgh program. Overall, we're very happy with our decision to send her here.

"Not Without Its Challenges"

My son is in Year 11 and we've had a bit of a mixed experience at Oldfield School. The teaching is generally good, but sometimes the school can be a bit disorganized. We've also had some issues with bullying, which we're still addressing. However, the school has been working hard to resolve these issues and we're hopeful that things will improve.

"Helped My Child Grow"

My child attended Oldfield School from Year 9 to Year 13 and it was a great experience for them. The school provided them with a supportive environment and excellent teaching. They were particularly fond of the House system and the opportunities to get involved in sports and music. We're grateful for the education they received here.

"poorly deals with situations "

teachers do not know how to handle situations at all. they only focus on grades and couldn’t care less what discrimination or bullying the students are facing.

"Oldfield teachers"

The teachers don’t know how to handle situations. If I am doing my work and talking it doesn’t concern you. Got into a fight and was knocked unconscious and my head said to be civil with the girl!
