"Okay, but just not there yet."

All through Yr7 and Yr8 I was bullied by the same boys for being gay and non-binary. I told my tutor and even with over ten people complaining about the same thing and the same people, nothing was done to him. Then a week later, the main boy in the bullying gets a suspension for a week for telling someone to “kill themselves” even though he had done the same thing to me and even saying he’d “supply the rope.” Still, I’m in Yr10 now, nothing has been done to him and he is still bullying lots of people.

"good but bad."

this is a very good and independent school in basingstoke, from my opinon the staff is very nice and they will listen to your concerns, but as a student there it has made me feel unsafe because i got bullied throughout year 10 and that got me to move to another school. the teachers will deal with bullying but it just got out of hand and didn't do anything about it.

"average"

This school is very good and one of the most populated schools in basing-stoke, the teachers are ever so friendly, my child can easily go to one of them if they feel down, but in the other side, the teachers don't care about arguments or dealing with them, they listen to one side of the story, as a parent an honest review is, only send your kids here if they're not going to be in any arguments, as my child got threatened online, i know it's online and it shouldn't be brought into school, they could still ask about it as they were threatened with a terrible subject.

"A school which will be everyone’s first choice!"

This a school where education is at its best. With high end facilities including a big sports halls , a dance studio , food tech room, multiple high end science labs, 4G pitch of astroturf, with a netball court and another astroturf also a huge field. The schools outstanding facilities enable students to thrive in their curriculum. The school provides amazing teaching with small classes so that students get an opportunity for help whenever they need it.The teachers at the school are well trained in their specific area and care about their students progress throughout their 5 years at school. The school provides extra-curricular activities so that students can enrich in a sport, a subject or even something new to them. Students at the school feel part of a community and are equal. The school has help for everyone who needs it. The behaviour at the school has continued to improve since 2017 the new change in administration and has continued to get better since. At Everest their are many trip opportunities to allow students to gain an interest in a subject and further explore it. Coming to GCSE’s teachers care and are helpful throughout it . During tutor their is PSHE lessons which happen once or twice a week to educate students more about life and give them an insight in money , saving and personal health. At Everest everyone has a right to learn and everyone is welcome .
