"Average."

Ig it’s alright, some of the teachers are terrible tho, my lsa was, homophobic, said someone isn’t fit enough, took some sear defenders away, and shouts at people for no reason. A boy was sexually assaulting a lot of people, the school did nothing about it until someone’s mum finally contacted the police. Bullying is taken averagely but the teachers don’t actually care about anyone’s feelings, anxiety, depression o4 needs. First aid is useless they give you a wet paper towel. We have to be the best class ever when we have visitors, that’s the only time anyone takes anything seriously.

"Good, but some areas for improvement"

We've been at Merrylands Primary School and Nursery for a year now and overall we're happy with the experience. However, I feel that the school could do more to support children with special educational needs. The Safeguarding Newsletter is a great initiative, though.

"Wonderful school that supported my child's growth"

I was a parent at Merrylands Primary School and Nursery from 2018-2022 and I have only positive things to say. The school's focus on academic achievement, as well as emotional and social growth, really helped my child thrive. The new intake tours were a great resource for us when we first joined the school.

"Excellent school with great values"

I've been impressed with Merrylands Primary School and Nursery since my child started in reception. The values of respect, kindness and perseverance are really evident in the way the teachers and staff interact with the children. My child loves singing at Eastgate and the Christmas performance was fantastic.
