Our son attended Nobel Almancil at the secondary school. We were promised engaging teaching, excursions, focus on EQ and critical thinking โ none of these came to fruition. Class sizes are around 22 or 23. Kids in his classes throw paper airplanes, are disruptive, and talk while the teacher is teaching. Teaching is outdated: teachers lecture, students take notes. There were zero excursions in the time my son was there, and very few projects beyond writing assignments. The Heads listen attentively to parent complaints but nothing changes. Facilities are new and nice, and there are several after-school activities, but that is the only positive. We found a different school where we are much happier.
