Foston CE VC Primary School is a wonderful, inclusive village school that fosters a holistic learning experience for its students. The school is situated just off the A64 in the beautiful village of Thornton-Le-Clay, 15 minutes from both Malton and York. The school has a Christian Vision and core values of love, joy, patience and self-control.

"Some Positives, Some Negatives"

Foston CE VC Primary School has some great aspects, such as the nursery provision and the Christian values. However, I've found the communication between teachers and parents to be a bit lacking at times. My child seems to enjoy their time at the school, but I'm not entirely convinced about the curriculum.

"Love, Learn and Grow Together"

I'm so impressed with the way Foston CE VC Primary School has incorporated their Christian values into the daily routine. The children are taught to love and care for one another, and it's wonderful to see. The nursery staff are also fantastic, very supportive and encouraging.

"Excellent School Experience"

Foston CE VC Primary School has been a wonderful choice for my children. The nurturing environment and strong Christian values have really helped my child thrive. The staff are supportive and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is engaging and challenging.

"Foston CE VC Primary School - A Great Choice"

I was really impressed with Foston CE VC Primary School when my child attended. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the school has a great atmosphere. My child made some wonderful friends and really enjoyed their time at the school.
