"A Home Away from Home"

My daughter loves her time at Bugthorpe Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The school's values of kindness and respect are something we encourage at home, and it's wonderful to see them in action every day. The outdoor learning facilities are also a highlight - she's learned so much about nature and the environment.

"Excellent Education and Outstanding Community"

As a parent of two children at Bugthorpe, I can confidently say that the school provides an excellent education in a supportive and welcoming community. The school's links with Nyabeyiya Primary School in Uganda are also a great way to broaden the children's horizons and teach them about global citizenship.

"Some Positives, Some Room for Improvement"

My child has made some great friends at Bugthorpe, and the teachers are generally very engaged and enthusiastic. However, I do feel that the school's communication could be better - it's sometimes difficult to get information about upcoming events or important dates. Additionally, the school meals could be improved.
