About Upwell Academy

Upwell Academy provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for boys and girls aged 4 to 11, spanning Reception through to Year 6. Established in 1878, Upwell Academy blends rich heritage with modern facilities. The original schoolhouse continues to serve as our entrance lobby, administrative offices, and staff room.

"Fantastic School with Fantastic Staff!"

Upwell Academy has been an amazing experience for our child. The staff are always so supportive and enthusiastic. The facilities are great and the values they promote in the children are wonderful. My child is thriving and I couldn't be happier with the school.

"Excellent School with a Heart of Gold"

We are absolutely delighted with Upwell Academy. The school has a wonderful atmosphere and the teachers are truly caring and dedicated. Our child is making great progress and is happy to go to school every day. The extra-curricular activities and school trips are also excellent.

"A Great School with Wonderful Facilities"

Upwell Academy has been a great choice for our child. The school has a lot to offer, including fantastic facilities such as the sensory garden and the Big Red Bus. The staff are friendly and the values the school promotes are excellent. I do wish there were more opportunities for parent involvement, but overall it's a great school.

"Mixed Feelings About Upwell Academy"

We attended Upwell Academy for several years and had a mixed experience. The school has a lot to offer, but we sometimes felt that our child's individual needs were not being met. The staff were friendly, but there were some inconsistencies in teaching styles. Overall, it was an okay experience, but we're now exploring other options.
