About Fyling Hall School

Fyling Hall is a small boarding school with a large heart, located in a breath-taking location overlooking the picturesque coastline of Robin Hood’s Bay. We believe that education does not just happen in the classroom and focus on the development of the child as a whole. Our school was founded in 1923 by an inspirational teacher called Mab Bradley.

"A Home Away from Home"

Fyling Hall has exceeded our expectations in every way. The boarding facilities are top-notch, and the staff are genuinely caring and attentive. My child has thrived academically and socially since joining.

"A Mixed Bag"

While Fyling Hall has many strengths, we've encountered some issues with communication and consistency. The school's facilities are lovely, and the teachers seem dedicated, but we've had to chase up concerns on occasion.

"A School with a Heart"

We were impressed by the emphasis on pastoral care and the individual attention given to each child. The school's commitment to the well-being of its students is truly commendable. Our child has grown into a confident young adult thanks to Fyling Hall.
