About Wells Cathedral School

Wells Cathedral School provides an encouraging and ambitious education for every child. We give our pupils numerous opportunities to discover and nurture individual passions, in turn propelling them into a successful and fulfilling life beyond school. We are interested in the education of the whole child, not just their academic achievement.

"Excellent School with a Warm Community"

We are so happy with our decision to send our son to Wells Cathedral School. The teachers are supportive, the facilities are top-notch, and the values of kindness, respect, and compassion are truly embedded. My son has thrived in the Prep School, and we feel confident he will excel in the Senior School.

"Mixed Experience so Far"

We have had a mixed experience with Wells Cathedral School so far. The Pre-Prep is lovely, and our son has made some great friends. However, we have found the Senior School to be a bit more formal and strict than we anticipated. We're still giving it a chance, but it's not quite living up to our expectations.

"A School that Truly Understands its Students"

As a parent of a former pupil, I can confidently say that Wells Cathedral School is a truly special place. The music program is exceptional, the pastoral care is outstanding, and the staff are passionate and dedicated. Our son flourished in the Sixth Form, and we have no hesitation in recommending the school to other families.
