The Waterloo School is a special place for children to learn, with a shoeless environment to create a home-like atmosphere and encourage calmness. Our school vision is to support our community to be confident in building trusting relationships within a nurturing environment. We aim to settle and soothe all our pupils so that they can access learning.

"Positive Aspects, but Room for Improvement"

I've had a bit of a mixed experience with the Waterloo School so far. While I appreciate the school's focus on mental health and wellbeing, I've felt that communication with the staff has been a bit patchy at times. The 'shoeless learning' concept has been interesting, but I'm not sure it's for me.

"A Home Away from Home"

I've been so impressed with the Waterloo School since my child started, especially the 'shoeless learning' concept. It's created a relaxed and calm atmosphere that really helps my child focus. The staff are also very supportive and I've always felt welcome.

"Excellent Support for Mental Health"

The Waterloo School has been a game-changer for our family. The emphasis on mental health and wellbeing has really helped my child thrive, and the staff are always available to offer support. I've also appreciated the Governor's commitment to the school's values and ethos.

"Wonderful Education"

I was a parent here for 3 years and was thrilled to see my child grow and develop. The school's relational approach really helped them build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and I loved the emphasis on play-based learning. I've recommended the Waterloo School to all my friends!
