"A Great School with Some Room for Improvement"

My child has been at Blackgates Primary Academy since Reception and we have been generally very happy with the school. The staff are caring and supportive, and the curriculum is engaging and challenging. However, I do feel that the school could improve its communication with parents - it can sometimes feel a bit one-way.

"A School that Truly Cares"

I have been really impressed by the sense of community at Blackgates Primary Academy. The school's values of kindness, empathy and respect are clearly evident in the way the staff interact with the children, and my child has thrived in this supportive environment. The playground facilities are also fantastic, with plenty of space for active play.

"A Happy and Supportive School"

I have been blown away by the care and commitment shown by the staff at Blackgates Primary Academy. My child is in Year 3 and has never come home feeling unhappy or anxious, which is a testament to the school's values and approach. The facilities are also excellent, with a lovely library and playground.
