Mary Howard CE Primary School is a union of two small, rural primary schools in villages on the River Mease. We pride ourselves on having strong links with our churches, local communities and schools. Our curriculum is real and relevant and encourages Wisdom to navigate life in the 21st Century.

"A School Like No Other"

We're so grateful to have found Mary Howard. The school's Christian values and emphasis on kindness and respect have made a huge difference to our children. The teachers are passionate and dedicated, and the curriculum is engaging and challenging. We love the school's focus on community and service, and our children are always excited to come to school.

"A Wonderful Community"

We've been at Mary Howard for 5 years and we can't speak highly enough of the school. The values of wisdom, love and perseverance are truly embedded in every aspect of the school. From the new growing garden to the fantastic sports facilities, our children have thrived. The staff are supportive and caring, and the community spirit is amazing.

"A Good School, But Room for Improvement"

We left Mary Howard a few years ago, but I still keep an eye on the school. While the facilities are excellent and the staff are generally very supportive, I think there could be more opportunities for children to take risks and try new things. The curriculum can be a bit rigid at times, and I wish there was more emphasis on independence and self-directed learning. Still, it's a good school and I'm sure it'll continue to improve.
