Longwood is a small one form entry primary school situated in Mile Oak, Tamworth. We pride ourselves on our school surroundings and incorporate our outdoors regularly into our curriculum.

"Varied Experience"

While my child has enjoyed their time at Longwood, I have noticed some inconsistencies in teaching quality and communication from the school. The outdoor learning environment is wonderful, but I feel that more could be done to engage parents and keep us informed about school life.

"Exceptional Education and Care"

I have been blown away by the dedication and passion of the staff at Longwood Primary. My child has thrived here, particularly in the outdoor learning environment. The Forest School and Forest Classroom are a haven for children to explore and learn.

"Nurturing Environment"

Longwood Primary has been a fantastic choice for our family. The school's commitment to fostering a sense of community and respect for nature is truly inspiring. My child loves the weekly Forest School sessions and is always eager to share their experiences with us.

"Excellent Teaching and Support"

I was impressed by the school's emphasis on SEND support and the SENCo's expertise. The teachers were always approachable and took the time to understand my child's needs. My child made great progress during their time at Longwood and I will always be grateful for the experience.
