About Nyland School
Nyland School is a specialist primary school for pupils with SEMH need. We aim to build an ethos of emotional awareness and understanding, known as emotional quotient, before intellectual quotient in order to promote relevant and sustained development of the ‘whole child’.

While we've generally been happy with Nyland School, there have been a few issues with communication and organization that have caused us some frustration. However, the teachers and support staff are always willing to listen and make changes, which gives us hope for the future.

"Love the small class sizes!"
I'm so glad we chose Nyland School for our child. The small class sizes and high adult-to-pupil ratio have made a huge difference in our child's happiness and academic progress. The mindfulness sessions in the morning are also a brilliant way to start the day.
