About Kingfisher CE Academy

Kingfisher CE Academy is a two-form entry primary school, which opened to Nursery and Reception pupils in September 2021. It will grow incrementally year by year, and once full the school will serve 420 pupils aged 4 to 11 as well as offering 76 nursery places. We believe this to be an education which enables every person to flourish in the widest sense.

"Excellent school with a caring community"

I'm so happy with Kingfisher CE Academy. My child has been here since reception and has thrived. The classes are engaging, and the teachers are supportive. I love the values they instil in the children, especially Hope and Service.

"Some aspects of the school shine, others could improve"

We had a good experience at Kingfisher CE Academy, but there were some areas that didn't quite live up to expectations. The PE program was great, and the SEND unit is excellent. However, communication with teachers was sometimes lacking, and the workload for some classes seemed excessive.

"Outstanding facilities and staff"

We've been impressed with the nursery facilities at Kingfisher CE Academy. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and my child loves attending. The Discovery Day pack with the chosen author's book is a lovely touch.
