About Oulton CofE First School

We are a popular village school set within a strong local community, with a significant number of our children being welcomed from surrounding areas. Our school caters for children from three years of age in our Nursery through to learners of nine years (year 4). We believe that the partnership between parents or carers and the school is vital and we actively encourage the community to become involved in the life of the school.

We love the sense of community at Oulton First School, from the family-friendly events to the genuine interest shown by the teachers in each child's progress. My daughter is thriving here!

"Wonderful community and caring staff!"

We've had a fantastic experience at Oulton First School, from the welcoming playground to the dedicated teachers who go the extra mile. The Christian values are clearly visible and my children feel safe and happy here.

"Nice school, but could improve"

We've been happy with Oulton First School so far, but I do wish they offered more extracurricular activities for older children. The nursery staff are excellent, though!

"Exceeded our expectations!"

We moved to the area and were initially worried about changing schools, but Oulton First School has been a wonderful discovery. The staff were always supportive and helped my children settle in quickly.
