About Roaches School

The Roaches School is a Residential Special School that provides quality care and education to children with severe emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. They aim to create a caring and supportive 'family' atmosphere, facilitating the reintegration of pupils into mainstream education. The school has a unique feature of its network of registered Community Houses.

"Life changing experience for our child"

We can't thank the Roaches School enough for the support and care they've given our child. The outdoor activities with trained instructors are a highlight and have helped our child build confidence in a way that no other school could. We've seen a complete transformation in their behavior and attitude towards learning.

"Good, but could be improved"

We've had mixed experiences with the Roaches School. On the one hand, the staff have been supportive and our child has enjoyed the outdoor activities. However, we feel that the school could benefit from more structure and consistency in terms of communication and discipline. We're hoping to see some improvements in the coming months.

"Excellent support for our child's emotional needs"

The Roaches School has been a godsend for our child who requires extra support with their emotional and behavioral difficulties. The staff are understanding and patient, and the individualized education plans have really helped our child to thrive. We're grateful for the small class sizes and the opportunity for our child to participate in outdoor activities.

"Our child's journey to success started at the Roaches School"

Our child attended the Roaches School several years ago and it was a turning point in their educational journey. The school's emphasis on creating a caring and supportive 'family' atmosphere really made a difference. Our child has gone on to achieve great things and we credit the Roaches School for laying the foundations.
