About High Lane Primary School

A small one form entry school, catering for children aged from 3 to 11. We have high expectations of our children and offer lots of support to help them achieve. We believe everyone should enjoy school and we plan lots of exciting activities to make learning fun.

"Wonderful school with a caring community!"

I've been so impressed with the welcoming environment at High Lane Primary School. My son has thrived in his Year 5 class and loves the extracurricular activities on offer. The school's focus on 'belonging' and 'relationships' really shows in the way the staff and children interact with each other.

"Some positives, but room for improvement"

My daughter has been at High Lane Primary School for two years and while she loves her class and the school's facilities, I've had some concerns about the consistency of teaching and the lack of communication from the school. The values of 'curiosity' and 'resilience' are definitely evident in the children, but I feel that the school could do more to engage with parents.

"Excellent education and support"

My children attended High Lane Primary School from Reception to Year 6 and had a fantastic experience. The teachers were always available to offer extra support and the school's curriculum was engaging and relevant. I was especially impressed with the school's commitment to 'lifelong learning'.
