About The Meadows Academy
The Meadows Academy is a mixed secondary special school that caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. We strive to create a sense of belonging where our pupils feel they are valued and respected, an atmosphere where all can make progress and succeed and where we can provide opportunities and experiences that are additional and different, that raise aspirations and develop resilience.

"A Sense of Belonging for My Child"
I've been really impressed with The Meadows Academy's commitment to creating a sense of belonging for their students. My child has thrived in this environment and has made some great friends. The staff are also very approachable and have been a great source of support for both my child and me.

"Exceptional Support for My Child"
I've been so impressed with the way The Meadows Academy has supported my child. The staff are caring, understanding, and have been instrumental in helping them manage their Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. The facilities are also excellent, with a calm and welcoming environment. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.

"Some Challenges, but Generally Positive"
My child has been attending The Meadows Academy for a couple of years now, and while it's been a bit of a mixed bag, I think the school is generally doing a good job. The staff are caring and the facilities are suitable for the needs of the children. However, I do wish there were more opportunities for parents to get involved in school life.

"Good Experience for My Child"
My child attended The Meadows Academy a few years ago and had a generally positive experience. The school's focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues was really valuable for them. The staff were supportive and the facilities were good. I do wish there had been more opportunities for extracurricular activities, but overall it was a good experience for my child.
