Harton Academy

Absolutely awful would not recommend taking your child to this school if they are suffering from mental health issues as the head of pastoral at this school, and many other members of staff here don't make you feel very welcome or even entertain the idea of making you feel welcome if you are at this school.

Worst school Eva!!!!

They don't care about your mental health, the teachers don't care about your wellbeing, when its boiling outside and you need a drink they say you should've had one at break or lunch, they don't make it enjoyable.

terrible, the ammount of drug use and vaporizer use there are is completely and utterly ludicrous. get your school under control this minute as we are sick of facing the injust hypocrisy of this communist based school

Very good school i highly recommend
it they help out with ur work and get u higher and was able to pass but on the other hand the bully in the school is bad the teachers dont do anything about it and when i went there there was only like 3 teachers outside watching all the students and there is over 600+ stidents who go there so if you dont want my child getting into fights or anything i dont recommend this school

The school is very good, the teachers are very kind and will always try to help you and are honest with you, the food is very nice (in my opinion, as a very picky eater) there are lots of after school clubs for people to do and whenever there's people causing trouble it's normally dealt with straight away, there's teachers always out at break and lunch and you can always go up and ask for help from one. The work is good and it doesn't push you so far that you're struggling and going further behind but it's not too hard so that you're finding it very easy.

School shoves so much information into your brain and expects you to remember it all. It also favours the quick writers if you're slow at writing then theres no point writing anything because when kid finishes the teacher moves onto the next slide

We're absolutely thrilled with the Harton Academy's approach to education. The school's values of hard work, respect, and kindness have really rubbed off on our child, and they've become a more confident and responsible person as a result. We love the sense of community at the school and feel that the staff are all committed to helping our child succeed.

We've been thoroughly impressed with the Harton Academy's facilities and the supportive staff. Our child has made incredible progress in their subjects, especially with the guidance of the dedicated teachers. We can't speak highly enough of the school's values and the way they've helped our child develop into a confident individual.

We've been really pleased with the opportunities that Harton Academy has provided for our child. From the Legally Blonde musical to the Careers Newsletter, we've seen a big emphasis on helping students develop their talents and interests. The teachers are also very approachable and have been a huge help in supporting our child's education.

We moved our child to Harton Academy a few years ago and have seen significant improvements in their education. The school has a great atmosphere and the teachers are generally very supportive. However, we've noticed that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep them informed about what's going on in the school.

Staff are lovely and helpful. My children love it here and couldn't wish to go to a better school! Keep it up Harton!

Got bullied into the floor by loads of people until I was afraid to be outside making me only stay in the recource space only.

The teaching is poor, and students are MASSIVELY favoured based on who their parents are. If a kid is athletic but also brings a knife in it’s all good because he scores goals for the school. The hypocrisy is blatant and not acknowledged by anyone. Many students suffer from mental health issues as well but can’t make an effort to fix this because of students, fellow teachers. I would like to point out I’m in the highest set possible for almost everything, in case you think I’m just a low set idiot rating the school. No. I’m in the same classes as the rich kid chavs who can’t spell but are still given high grades and kept in school after dealing drugs in front of teachers. Ridiculous.

The head is a tori but most the teachers are nice and good at their jobs
