"Best Islamic school in Slough"

For a school that is relatively new (around seven years since its founding) I would say it has made a pretty big improvement to from its former self. Classrooms have been extended and new teachers have been recruited. Time is taken out of the day for prayer and students start every morning with recitation of Quran. When comparing the resources and facilities to other schools, this school is definitely not as good (although adequate enough and are trying to make it better) and as for education I would give five stars. The teachers have a personal bond with the students and seek the best for them, and try their best to improve every student. One thing this school does have which most schools do not, is a safe environment where children can feel safe and not have to worry about getting picked on or bullied. Students show no hesitation when talking about personal matters with teachers and I am very grateful for that. Would definitely recommend sending your child here.

P.s one thing you might find off-putting is that the school do not offer school dinners , other than that, 10/10.

"This School Should Be Taken Down."

The school isn't all that. The timings are like working a 9-5 job. The teachers don't know how to teach which means students barely learn anything. The school is so small. There is only 5 classes throughout the building. There is no canteen and the "playground" is a carpark for the mosque. There are a small amount of teachers and students don't get to pick their GCSE's due to a restricted amount of subjects. The facilities are atrocious. For P.E, students have to walk for 10 minutes to play a sport in the park and walk 10 minutes back. There is no assembly hall. There is no website. The GSCE results weren't good for most students due to lack of good teachers in the school. Majority of the students hate the school due to these reasons. The Education & Learning is appalling. There are no Staff & Teachers. There isn't any Safety & Security. The Indoor environment is very bad. The Outdoor environment is poor as well. There are no Food & Meals. There is little to no School Information online anywhere and AMIGS does does not know what Activities are. This school should honestly be taken down.

"Long hours and lack of facilities "

This school clearly saw a gap in the market and realised that a number of parents whose kids failed the 11+ may get a chance to attend a school with Grammar in the title. My son finished this year at AMIGS and left with below par grades. The teaching standard is not any different from a state secondary and facilities are non existent. The benefit is having prayer facilities on site. In hindsight I wish I had put my son in a normal school. The school hours are incredibly long.

"Spend a little more and go to an established private school "

Standard of teaching is below par, choices of GCSEs are limited, lack of basic facilities such as playground and canteen facilities. Plus points are the masjid facilities onsite and Islamic ethos. Very little information on GCSE pass rates and no follow on 6th form.

"AMIGS"

The school lacks basic canteen facilities, no playground and limited teaching staff. The assembly hall doubles up as a playground in the winter. Subjects studied are limited and very little information available on the GCSE results.
