Dobcroft Nursery Infant School

My son has been at Dobcroft for a year now, and we've been blown away by the school's commitment to creating a sense of community. The 'Make Good Choices' and 'Respect each other & our surroundings' values are particularly impressive - it's wonderful to see the children taking ownership of these principles and applying them in their daily lives. The teachers are approachable and enthusiastic, and the activities on offer are engaging and diverse. My only suggestion would be to improve communication with parents - sometimes we've felt left in the dark about upcoming events and deadlines. But overall, we're so happy with Dobcroft and feel grateful to be a part of the school community.

I was so impressed with Dobcroft Infant School during my daughter's time there. The teachers were supportive, the facilities were excellent, and the values-based approach really resonated with us. We loved the emphasis on 'Enjoy Learning' and 'Work Together' - it encouraged our daughter to develop a lifelong love of learning and to be a kind and considerate member of the community. I would highly recommend Dobcroft to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.

We've been at Dobcroft for a couple of years, and while we've been generally pleased with the school, there are a few areas where we feel they could improve. The facilities are great - the outdoor play areas and classrooms are well-maintained and engaging. However, we've had some issues with communication - sometimes we've felt that we're not being kept in the loop about important events or changes to the curriculum. Additionally, my child has struggled with some of the more academically-focused activities, and we feel that the school could do more to support children who need extra help. Overall, though, we're happy with the values-based approach and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
