Nore Academy

Nore Academy is the first SEND Free School Academy on the Isle of Sheppey, specializing in education for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It serves secondary phase students aged 11-16 and is part of the Alternative Learning Trust. The school offers a curriculum designed to support academic success and develop practical skills, with a cross-curricular approach to foster positive relationships with learning. Facilities include a purpose-built sports hall, two multi-use games areas (MUGAs), a forest school area, and specialist classrooms such as hair and beauty, construction, art, and science labs. Nore Academy aims to prepare students for adulthood by equipping them with core literacy and numeracy skills alongside practical learning opportunities.
