About Life Skills Manor

Life Skills Manor for Autism is a special school that develops independence through learning transferable life skills. The school is registered with the Department for Education and opened in January 2022. It is passionate about giving students the tools they will need for life in the real world.

"Life Skills Manor exceeded our expectations!"

We were a bit nervous about moving our son to Life Skills Manor, but the entire staff have been amazing. The virtual tour was really helpful when choosing the school. The allotment and garden facilities are incredible, and our son is learning so many new skills.

"Our daughter is thriving at Life Skills Manor!"

We've seen a huge improvement in our daughter's confidence since joining Life Skills Manor. The pizza-making workshop was a great experience, and she's been practicing her independence skills in the Forest School. We love the 'Skills for Life' motto - it really resonates with us as a family.

"Mixed feelings about Life Skills Manor"

While the staff at Life Skills Manor are friendly and helpful, we've experienced some issues with communication. Our son loves the indoor sports facilities, but the Forest School has been a bit challenging for him. Overall, we're giving it a chance and hoping things improve.

"Life Skills Manor gave our son the gift of independence!"

We're so grateful for the experience our son had at Life Skills Manor. The school's focus on practical life skills really helped him prepare for adulthood. We're proud of the person he's become, and we'll always be thankful for the support the staff provided along the way.
