"Some positives but room for improvement"

We've been pleased with our child's progress at Downton Primary, the school's emphasis on eco-awareness is great. However, we've experienced some issues with communication from the school regarding attendance and events. Overall, a good but not outstanding school.

"Warm, caring and welcoming environment"

My child has thrived at Downton Primary, the staff are always approachable and understanding. I love the emphasis on Christian values and the opportunities for extra-curricular activities. The playground is a joy to watch!

"Excellent education and nurturing atmosphere"

Our two children attended Downton Primary and we were consistently impressed with the education they received. The school's focus on individualised learning and pastoral care was particularly noticeable. I would highly recommend it to any parent.
