About The JCB Academy
The JCB Academy was the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK when it opened in 2010. We teach learners technical, scientific, and business subjects in a whole new way and are educating the inventors, engineers, health scientists, and business and finance leaders of tomorrow, with a motto of 'Changing lives by developing the engineers and business leaders of the future.’ We have purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities, and a unique curriculum, with a progressive, 21st Century approach to education.

"Fantastic school experience"
My child has thrived at The JCB Academy. The facilities are impressive and the teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. We've seen a real emphasis on teamwork and co-operation which is great to see.

"Some room for improvement in pastoral care"
While we've been pleased with the academic programs, we've experienced some issues with pastoral care. Communication with teachers and tutors has sometimes been difficult to arrange.

"Supportive and inclusive community"
We've been really impressed with the support and inclusivity at The JCB Academy. The annual ski trip is a great way to build relationships with teachers and peers outside of the classroom.

"Excellent engineering programs"
Our child was at The JCB Academy for 3 years and we were really pleased with the engineering programs on offer. The Harper Adams Challenge was a highlight and helped our child secure a great apprenticeship.
