About Reeth Community Primary School

Welcome to Reeth and Gunnerside Primary Schools. Together we educate the children of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale from the age of 3 to 11 years. Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we have a fantastic learning environment on our doorstep that provides superb opportunities for first hand learning, and this is complemented by great facilities within the schools.

We have been thoroughly impressed with the education and care our child has received at Reeth Community Primary School. "A True Partner in Education"

Reeth Community Primary School has been a game-changer for our family. The school's values of 'Learn - Explore - Grow' are evident in everything they do, and we love how they work closely with local partners to enrich the curriculum. "Mixed Experience, but Potential for Growth"

We've been a bit disappointed with the Nursery experience so far, mainly due to the inconsistent hours and communication. However, the staff are friendly, and our child seems to enjoy the activities. We hope the school will work on addressing our concerns and improving the Nursery provision.

"Great Education, Welcoming Community"

We moved to a new area and our child started at Reeth Community Primary School. We were initially worried about the transition, but the school made us feel so welcome. The education is excellent, and our child loved the outdoor activities and trips. We're grateful for the memories and the education they received.
