Somervale School is a very popular, high achieving, 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive school situated in Midsomer Norton on the outskirts of Bath and on the edge of Somerset. We place our students at the heart of everything that we do. We believe in working hard, being kind and enjoying learning.

"Best school ever!"

My son transitioned smoothly from primary school to Somervale and the staff have been fantastic in supporting him. The facilities are excellent and the values of hard work, kindness and enjoyment of learning are truly instilled in the students.

"Excellent teaching and extracurricular activities"

My daughter has thrived at Somervale, her teachers are passionate and knowledgeable, and the extracurricular activities on offer are fantastic. She has made many friends and is really enjoying her time at the school.

"Mixed experience"

My child attended Somervale a few years ago and had a bit of an uneven experience. Some teachers were excellent, but others seemed less engaged. However, the school did a good job of supporting my child's SEND needs and the transition process from primary to secondary was well-handled.
