About Red Kite School

Red Kite School is an independent specialist school in Princes Risborough for students aged 11 – 18 who have a range of complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), communication and interaction and associated challenging behaviour. We provide a therapeutic educational approach with a staff team dedicated and determined to support every individual.

"Wonderful Supportive Environment"

My child has been at Red Kite School for over a year now and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the supportive environment they've created. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and truly care about the well-being of their students. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience are evident in everything they do. Highly recommended!

"Great Experience, Room for Improvement"

We've had a generally positive experience at Red Kite School. The clinical team is fantastic, and the adapted curriculum has really helped my child feel more confident. However, I do feel that communication between teachers and parents could be better. Sometimes it feels like we're not always in the loop about what's happening in class. Still, overall, I'm happy with the progress my child is making.

"Life-Changing Experience"

My child attended Red Kite School several years ago, and it was truly a life-changing experience for them. The school's focus on SEMH and autism support was exactly what they needed, and the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating. Although we've moved on to other schools, I still hear from my child about the positive impact Red Kite had on their life. Thank you, Red Kite!
