About Oakfield House School
Oakfield House School is a small, independent school catering for autistic children aged between 4-12 who may have a range of additional needs. We aim to show the children that learning can be fun and exciting and to understand that learning is essential to their adult life. Our school is set within a beautiful country house built in the 1880s, that is set in eight acres of beautiful parkland.

As a single parent, I was nervous about sending my 7-year-old daughter to a new school, but Oakfield House has been a haven for us. The staff are kind and understanding, and the facilities are top-notch. My daughter loves the outdoor space and sensory room.

"Life-changing experience for our son"
We sent our son to Oakfield House School when he was 6 and he is now a confident and independent young man. The school's focus on developing core life skills and creating a nurturing environment helped him thrive. We couldn't ask for more.

"Personalised approach and progress"
Our son joined Oakfield House at the beginning of Year 2 and we've seen remarkable progress in his communication and social skills. The teachers take the time to understand each child's needs and tailor their approach accordingly. We couldn't be happier.

"Mixed experience so far"
We enrolled our 9-year-old son at Oakfield House after a negative experience at his previous school. While the facilities are lovely and the staff are friendly, we've struggled with the pace of learning and some of the teaching methods. We're hoping things will improve soon.
