Just a terrible school staff are horrible food is disgusting and some teachers bully students

My daughter attends Burscough Priory and is currently in year 10. My daughter has struggled throughout high school, and it's not been easy at times. The support she / we have had has been outstanding, and when I say some of the teachers have gone above and beyond, I really mean it.
As a mum, sometimes you need that extra support, and they have been fantastic.
The support and genuine care they have given and shown my daughter has been truly amazing.
Children can struggle in a big high school and they're just a number lost in a 1000 plus students, but Burscough is definitely not this school.
This is my honest review as a mum whose child has found high school a huge challenge at times.

I was playing football at school and broke my foot, no teacher was overlooking the game and once I had told a teacher they said in these exact words, ‘Oh no.’ Not following safety procedures and reception sometimes doesn’t have equipment that students parents pay for.

They have lot issues they doing nothing about like bullying and similar problems and they are letting other students bully other ones and just doing nothing about it and no one deserves to be bullied

There is a lot of bullying, abusive students, doesn’t help with SEND kids (kids with additional needs) and have terrrible staff

Students mental health are horrible here and causing them to bully the other students and act out during class and some of the students are starting to have poor self esteem and this taking away there happiness so this needs to change better school meals and doing this about bullying because the school have done about this and something needs to be done

The experience I've had is horrible the students are bullying other and acting out on them more and the staff are doing nothing about it also They stopped doing home checks 3 months ago after I dropped out because How bad my mental health was getting and I lost my friends and I lost years of my life off because of it so I wanna give all the students a voice

This school isn't good for the kids the kids are suffering and there mental health and confidence is getting badder and students have started acting out on other students causing them to leave school and ruin there life and students option on school is getting worse because the horrible experience they have had here

I would hate to say this but this school horrible to children it will ruin there mental health and opinion of school for life and they could give up and have a bad future and I want what's best for the students and the school staff aren't helping with bullying and other things and they scream at the students and treat them horrible it's not good for the students and I just want the students to have a voice because if they wanna say something they should be free to but the school make them too scared to speak so I would like to give a voice to them the students are tired of them and other students are starting to act out on there fellow students of the school and it's getting out of hand and it's getting worse and worse so Pls do something about this

The students mental health is getting badder and badder the school doesn't help with bullying or anything and they say they will do things but they don't do it and students are struggling with mental health and some of them are acting out on the other students causing them to give up and destroy there self confidence and mental health and It's not good this could ruin the students lives and change there opinion on school to bad so to the parents don't send your child here they will suffer

when i used to attend this school it was horrible, i got bullied everyday and they dont help with mental health.

My child loves attending Burscough Priory Academy, but I do think there could be more after-school clubs and activities for older children. Also, the uniform policy could be more flexible. That being said, the school's values and curriculum are excellent, and the teachers are always supportive.

We've been blown away by the level of care and education our children have received at Burscough Priory Academy. The school's focus on personal development and pastoral care has been a game-changer for our family. Highly recommend!

I'm thoroughly impressed with Burscough Priory Academy! The staff are friendly, the facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the values of the school really shine through. My son loves attending and always talks about the amazing teachers he has.

We have nothing but praise for the education and care our children received at Burscough Priory Academy. The school's focus on individual support and career guidance helped my children achieve their full potential. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality education.

I left a hand full of years ago and I can safely say this place stripped my of 5 years of happiness. Don't get me wrong there is a small amount of amazing teachers but the overall running of the school is a shambles,there's no consideration of students mental health or of their concernes to do with the school;I made multiple suggestions of how to change the school and I was either ignored or told that I didn't run the school so my ideas didn't count. Please don't go here, it's worth the bus journey to a school further away so that you don't have to endure the hell this place will put you through. I will say however I always felt safe from outside dangers while on school grounds (not from other students though).
