About Ashton CofE Primary School

We are a small village school near Salcey Forest in beautiful rural Northamptonshire, with places for 54 children between the ages of four and eleven. Our children are nurtured and encouraged from an early age to develop as individuals in a happy and caring environment with its roots in Christian values.

"A hidden gem in rural Northamptonshire"

We moved to Ashton and found this lovely school. The staff are caring, supportive and go the extra mile for our children. The values of the school align perfectly with our own - kindness, empathy and community. We feel so lucky to have found Ashton CE Primary.

"Mixed feelings about Ashton"

We're still getting used to the small class sizes and rural setting. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, but we feel the school could benefit from more extracurricular activities. Our child is happy and learning, but we're not entirely sure if this is the right school for us long-term.

"Great school in a beautiful setting"

We sent our children to Ashton for 5 amazing years. The school's focus on individuality and talent helped them grow into confident and capable young people. The Christmas nativity performance is always a highlight of the year!
