Thomas Bewick School is a specialist provision for autistic children and young people. We cater for children and young people aged 4 -19 years with a range of abilities and differences associated with the autism spectrum. Our school is a welcoming community where we have a shared commitment to providing the best possible learning opportunities for each and every pupil.

"Excellent Support for Autistic Children"

I am so grateful to have my son attend Thomas Bewick School. The staff are incredibly supportive and understanding, and the facilities are excellent. The school's focus on autism-specific approaches and strategies has really helped my son thrive.

"Mixed Emotions about the School"

I have mixed feelings about Thomas Bewick School. On the one hand, my daughter has made some great friends and the staff are generally very supportive. However, I have concerns about some of the administrative processes and the communication between the school and parents. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed soon.

"A Great Foundation for My Child's Future"

My daughter attended Thomas Bewick School a few years ago, and I was really impressed with the support she received. The school's curriculum and extracurricular activities were engaging and challenging, and the staff were always available to help. My daughter has gone on to do well in her further education, and I attribute this to the great foundation she received at Thomas Bewick.
