Maesteg School

Ysgol Maesteg School, commonly known as Maesteg Comprehensive School, is an English language comprehensive school located on Ffordd Dysgu in Maesteg, Bridgend, South Wales. Established at its current site in 2008, it serves students aged 11 to 19 and is known for its motto 'Motivated to Strive.' The school has a strong reputation for academic performance, being rated band 2 in the Welsh government school banding system, and serves a diverse student body with over 55% living in some of the most deprived areas of Wales. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum and has a house system with four houses: Cadrawd, Daren, Cynwyd, and Llynfi.
