About Millside Spencer Academy

Millside Spencer Academy opened in September 2022 as part of Rushcliffe Borough Council’s plan to meet the educational needs of the growing village of East Leake. Millside caters for children from across East Leake with our catchment area following the boundary of the village. Millside is located within the Skylarks development in a modern, purpose built setting which opened in September 2023.

"Some ups and downs"

We've had a bit of a mixed experience with Millside. The facilities are great and the staff are usually friendly, but there have been some issues with communication and organisation. We're still learning to navigate the system.

"A great introduction to primary school"

We moved to the area and were looking for a new school for our child. Millside was recommended by friends and it's been a great choice. The small class sizes and focus on individual learning have really helped our child settle in.

"Our child is THRIVING at Millside!"

We were a bit nervous moving from the city, but the team at Millside have been fantastic. The modern facilities and focus on natural curiosity have really brought out the best in our child. Highly recommend!
