Churwell Primary Academy is a large, vibrant and successful Primary School with around 490 pupils from Nursery to Year 6. It has high expectations of achievement and provides all children with the skills for lifelong learning through a rich, challenging curriculum within a shared culture of belonging to a school community and mutual respect.

"Excellent school for my child's growth"

I have been impressed with the progress my child has made since starting at Churwell Primary Academy. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the children seem to be encouraged to learn and grow. I particularly like the focus on mindfulness and growth mindset.

"Excellent facilities and values"

I have been impressed with the facilities at Churwell Primary Academy, particularly the forest school and the STEAM project. The staff seem to be really committed to the school's values of learn, aspire, achieve, and my child is thriving in this environment.

"Lovely school with a warm atmosphere"

I have been really impressed with Churwell Primary Academy so far. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and my child seems to be settling in well. I love the focus on learn, aspire, achieve and the variety of activities on offer.

"Great experience, but some areas for improvement"

My child had a great time at Churwell Primary Academy, and the staff were always supportive. However, I did feel that the school could do more to engage parents in the curriculum and activities.
