"Excellent education and beautiful setting"

We moved to the area a year ago, and our son loves going to Bassenthwaite Primary. The teachers are dedicated and enthusiastic, and the curriculum is well-rounded and engaging. We appreciate the school's focus on sustainability and outdoor learning, and the beautiful Lake District surroundings provide endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

"Warm and caring community, wonderful learning environment"

My daughter has been at Bassenthwaite Primary for two years now, and we've had a truly wonderful experience. The school's values of kindness, respect, and hard work are evident in every aspect of school life. The wraparound care and after-school clubs are a huge hit with our family, and the teachers are always approachable and supportive. We feel so lucky to be part of this community!

"Some positives, but areas for improvement"

I have mixed feelings about Bassenthwaite Primary. On the one hand, my son loved the Forest Schools program and the friendly teachers. However, I felt that the school communication was sometimes patchy, and there were a few instances where our needs as parents were not fully met. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to others.
