"Very good school"

Great school. Sadly people come to leave the reviews when they are not happy. But there are so many people who say the school is very good but they don t leave the review.

"Some positives, but room for improvement"

My daughter has only just started at the Green School for Girls, but we're generally pleased with the experience so far. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the staff seem caring and attentive. However, we've had some issues with communication and organization, which has caused some stress. I'm hoping these teething problems will be ironed out as we continue.

"A nurturing and supportive environment"

I've been consistently impressed with the Green School for Girls. The friendly staff and excellent facilities have made my daughter feel at home. We've also loved taking advantage of the enrichment programs, especially the sports clubs. Emily has thrived in this supportive environment, and I couldn't be prouder of her progress.

"Not recommended"

As a student whose school closed during Year 10 (starting GCSE's) and joined the Green School I can say that my experience of support at the Green School was awful. I never usually leave bad reviews, but this is from the heart and at least 10 years after my experience. After reading correspondence between my parents and the year lead at the time, I can say that I received no extra support as mentioned to my parents. The students were allowed to openly bully me and although approaching the staff many times for support, I was placed in isolation instead of them confronting the obvious issues. When I say obvious it was clear day to day who were the main bullies, and instead of confronting this it was just allowed to carry on. I won't go in to details, but it got to the point where I couldn't physically face attending school and completing my GCSE's. I passed some remotely and just came in for exams, however absolutely no extra support was given to me at this time. Although the correspondence between the school and my parents shows support and guidance given to me, I saw none of this and now realise that this was a complete cover up to ignore the issue, because who cares about the odd "one" who slips past. At 28 I am extremely proud of what I have achieved, however am still dealing with the trauma of my time at this school. Take bullying seriously, because for you it may be a passing student but its someone's life.
(I have rated certain parts well as this is purely to do with the reaction to bullying)

"improvement needed "

have so many ridiculous rules that aren’t even valid. school toilets are LOCKED during lesson time which is unbelievably ridiculous considering it’s an all girls school. i am very disappointed with the one way system. every time you go in a door they always tell you to go through the other door and alternate without warning. teachers are not very understanding aswell.

"Very poor "

The school has never been supportive in a way that is effective. There has been multiple sets of confusing and condescending rules in place during my time there. For example the rule that decided an adult member of staff had to be present in a dressing room while 30 young girls got changed for PE. This to me felt very wrong.

"Average"

During my time at this school I really struggled with my mental health. Although the school did attempt to try and accommodate me, the overall result led to me dropping out of the school. Additionally, their anti-bullying strategies leave much to be desired. There are definitely some teachers who care about their students, but many who do not seem to.

"Terrible Indoor Environment"

Most teachers work as expected however students are mostly rude and create an unsafe environment, even creating fear on the way back home. The indoor environment is very bad. I propose that measure regarding conduct in students and teachers to be at least more strict

"An outstanding education"

My daughter graduated from the Green School for Girls a few years ago, and I'm still blown away by the amazing education she received. The Green School Trust's commitment to academic excellence, coupled with their nurturing approach, helped my daughter blossom into a confident and capable young woman. We're forever grateful for the experience.

"This school is terrible."

This school is terrible. They do not care about the students well-being at all. A teacher has also said that they're only teaching for the money, which proves that they don't even care. There are some good teachers but they are few and far between.
