About St Helen's Primary School

St. Helen's Primary School and Nursery is a wonderful 3 storey Georgian (1914) school set in the heart of Ipswich, serving a diverse population and embracing the cultural heritage this provides. We are a two-form entry primary school, with 30 pupils in each class. Our core value is Equity - we believe that everyone can thrive if they are given the support they need, when they need it.

"Fabulous School Experience"

We moved to Ipswich last year and were hesitant about choosing a new school for our child. But St Helen's has been a game-changer. The facilities are lovely, the staff are so friendly and engaging, and the emphasis on equity and empowerment really resonates with us. My child loves going to school every day!

"Great School, Some Areas for Improvement"

My child has settled really well at St Helen's. We love the school's commitment to equity and the friendly staff. However, we've found the communication with the school to be a bit patchy at times. And the drop-off and pick-up times can be a bit chaotic. Still, overall we're very happy.

"Outstanding School Experience"

Our child has had an absolutely fantastic time at St Helen's. The school's values of excellence and empowerment have really made a difference, and the teachers are all so passionate and dedicated. My child loves the variety of clubs and activities, and we've made some wonderful friends at the school.

"Exceptional Education"

My child thrived during their time at St Helen's. The teachers were always approachable and supportive, and the school's values of excellence and empowerment really made a difference. We loved the variety of extracurricular activities and the sense of community. We miss it so much!
