Oakwood is a thriving, outward-facing, 11-16 community-centred Secondary School of approximately 1600 students in Horley. Our vision is for all at Oakwood, regardless of background or ability, to have a first-class education that fosters a thirst for innovation, lifelong learning and enquiry.

"Excellent All-Round School"

I'm so impressed with Oakwood School. From the moment we started, the staff have been supportive and welcoming. My child loves the variety of subjects and extracurricular activities, and the school's emphasis on the 8 Cs is great to see in action. We feel lucky to have found such a wonderful school.

"Fantastic School Community"

We're really enjoying our experience at Oakwood School. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the school's emphasis on respect and inclusivity is wonderful to see. My child is loving the variety of subjects and activities, and we feel part of a close-knit community.

"Helped My Child Flourish"

We moved to the area a few years ago, and I'm so glad we chose Oakwood for our child. The teaching and support were excellent, and the school's focus on innovation and lifelong learning really helped my child thrive. They're now at university, and I still think Oakwood played a big role in their success.

"Good Experience, Some Areas for Improvement"

I've been generally happy with Oakwood School, but I do think there could be more support for parents in terms of communication and getting involved. My child loves the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, and the teachers are generally great. However, I've had some issues with online payments and tracking my child's progress.
