We are a vibrant special school based in Harrogate which caters for children and young people with an EHCP aged 2 – 19 years old. We offer places to children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), physical difficulties (PD).

"Outstanding Support for My Child"
I've been blown away by the support my child has received at Springwater Academy. The staff are always available to chat and the facilities are incredible - my child loves the accessible playground. The values of inclusion, empowerment and care are really evident in everything they do. My child has come on so much since starting here.

"Life Changing Experience"
My child attended Springwater Academy from Year 5 and it was a truly life changing experience for them. The school's approach to supporting children with special needs is second to none and the staff are all so passionate about what they do. I was particularly impressed by the way the school worked with us to develop a personalised curriculum for my child. We couldn't be more grateful.

"Mixed Experience"
My child has been attending Springwater Academy for a year now and it's been a bit of a mixed experience. On the one hand, the staff are all very friendly and the facilities are great. On the other hand, I've found it a bit tricky to get in touch with teachers and I've had to chase up a few things. Overall, I think the school is trying its best but could improve communication with parents.
