Beckwithshaw is a small village school with a big heart. We have full wrap around care and our children believe in honesty, determination, respect, passion, self-belief and teamwork. We believe learning should be enjoyed and our curriculum exciting.

"Wonderful staff and facilities!"
We've been really impressed with the school's focus on emotional well-being and respect for each other. My child loves the wrap-around care and the teachers are always available to chat. The facilities are great too - especially the playground and sports equipment.

"Some positives, but room for improvement"
We've been pleased with the school's commitment to our child's learning, but we've had some issues with communication between teachers and parents. The STARs program is great, and our child loves the sports activities, but we feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and involve us in decision-making processes.

"Excellent education and values"
My children attended Beckwithshaw from reception to year 6 and we couldn't be happier with the education and values they received. The teachers are dedicated and passionate, and the Oracy program has really helped them develop their communication skills. We're so grateful to have such a wonderful school in our community.
