About Alburgh With Denton Church of England Primary Academy

Alburgh with Denton C.E. Primary Academy is a small village school where all of our staff and all our children know each other and look out for each other. We aim to give our pupils the best experiences and opportunities so that when they leave at the age of 11, they are confident both intellectually and sociably, aware of the world around them, respectful of others, and ready to meet the challenges of the next stage of their education.

"Fantastic school community!"

We've been so impressed with the warm and welcoming community at Alburgh With Denton Church of England Primary Academy. My child has thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment, and we love the emphasis on Christian values and charity work. The teachers are dedicated and knowledgeable, and the facilities are great.

"Some great aspects, but..."

We've had a mixed experience at Alburgh With Denton Church of England Primary Academy. The facilities are great, and the teachers are mostly dedicated and knowledgeable. However, we've experienced some issues with communication and organisation, particularly when it comes to extracurricular activities. Overall, we're happy with the school, but there's room for improvement.

"Wonderful education"

My child attended Alburgh With Denton Church of England Primary Academy from Reception to Year 6 and received an excellent education. The teachers were always available to offer support, and the curriculum was engaging and challenging. I particularly appreciated the Forest School sessions and the emphasis on outdoor learning.
